Traphang Thong Temple in Muang District, Sukhothai Province, where there were the archaeological sites on Traphang Island with the hall facing the west was unlike other temples. It was said that this temple was built by E-Mae, Phra Ruang's daughter-in-law to compete with Phra Ruang in creating the hall. E-Mae was
hard-working, so she finished the hall in one night along with the hall of Mahathat Temple built by Phra Ruang. However, the hall, unlike the others, faced the wrong direction due to haste.
