It is local fish. The story said that with the power of supernatural words of Phra Ruang, when Phra Ruang was traveling in the forest and he was hungry, but only one rice wrapped with no food, so he caught fish in the swamp to eat and only head and fishbone was left. He returned the fish to the stream and bewitched it to live again and spread its breed. The fish with only head and bone was transparent and visible.

This fish has two pairs of whiskers on the upper and lower jaw with a small and short fin. Its tail is curved and its body is long, flat, and so transparent that the internal organs can be seen. There are no scales and no pigment in the body. Most organs are close to its head. If seen through the magnifying glass, its heart will be visible. And if there is light at the right angle, the fish is seen in rainbow color. Sometimes it is referred to as "glassfish".
