Wat Chedi Ngam

The exquisiteness of the pagoda in the middle of forest and mountains.

Many times the landscape architecture helps the worth of the historic site is dominant. This temple is located on a low hill in outside the Sukhothai ancient city wall So, it's named "Wat Chedi Ngam" because of this.

The main pagoda of this temple is the large bell-shaped pagoda, and the base has the arch for enshrining Buddha images in all four directions. The front of the Viharn was built from laterite with the slate floor. All of these establishments look even more powerful with mountains in the background. However, it gives a feeling of calm and serenity amid the vast forest. As the temple is located on a hill, people have to walk along the stone bridge to see the beauty. The image of the pagoda slowly appears in each part. When walking along the bridge, it feels like a paradise that gradually revealing the image of people's minds.
