Wat Mum Langka,

Wat Lankaram of Queen.
The layout of this temple is very interesting because there is a bell-shaped or Lanka pagoda. But, this pagoda slid down to the base. The eastern part is the royal temple. The West part is a temple. The pagoda flanked by the building. So, this building was popular in the Ayutthaya period. This is consistent with the location of the temple that connects Sukhothai city with Kamphaeng Phet city that was influenced by Ayutthaya in the late Sukhothai period.

For the name of "Wat Mum Langka," we cannot find what it means. Some academics have speculated that it may have originated from the shape of the main pagoda that entirely collapsed, but some people speculate that the name of the temple may have faded from "Wat Lankaram" which appears in the stone inscription of Wat Asokaram stating that Her Majesty Queen Maha Chulalak Mahi Si Thep Thorrani Lokkarat, who is the Consort of Somdej Phra Maha Thamracha Sai Luteai, The 8th King of Sukhothai created it.
She has been built in many places according to the information from the inscription of Wat Asokaram indicated the names of the temples, such as Wat Asokaram, Wat Taksinaram, Wat Lankaram, Wat Burapharam. Moreover, she restored Wat Silwisutha where her husband had entered the Buddhist priesthood before. Besides, Her Majesty Queen constructed Wat Si Chulawas on the area where the "Somdej Pho Ok" funeral had been performed. This inscription is the only Sukhothai inscription that has the word "Song Sakarn" which refers to the funeral and does merits in dedication to the deceased expressing that there was a ceremony like this since that time.
