In Sukhothai city, there are 4 large ponds such as Traphang Traguan, Traphang So, Traphang Thong, and Traphang Ngoen. Wat Traphang Ngoen located in the west that is the famous and interesting art. The pagoda is lotus-shaped pagoda and decorated with the Walking Buddha image. And another pagoda is Shikhara or Wiman. There are only three of them found in Sukhothai including the temple located on Traphang Ngoen cay. This reflects the relationship between religion and water.
