Wat Siri Khet Khiri or Wat Narong

(Respectable Places of Si Satchanalai)
Wat Siri Khet Khiri, also known as "Wat Narong," is situated in Tambon Si Satchanalai. According to local legend about Phra Ruang, the temple is surrounded by mountains, providing an idyllic setting for the practice of Dhamma. Notably, the temple offers a commanding 360-degree view from the top of its chapel. The site is distinguished by a magnificent and graceful large Buddha statue, "Phra Phutthaphonchai Mongkhon Muni," visible from a considerable distance. The chapel's interior is embellished with pristine white tiles and hosts a captivating depiction of the Buddha statue of Somdej adorned in imperial robes. Another noteworthy feature is the presentation of the Buddha's footprint in a glass enclosure.
